What will happen to Privy Council cases?
We continue to hear them as before, but in the same building rather than in Downing Street. From our point of view, they add a welcome touch of diversity to our work and from their point of view, I hope that we provide a good and useful service to those countries which still use us. Is the retirement age of 75 a reasonable compromise? At present, the question is whether it should become 75 for all Supreme Court Justices, rather than 75 for some and 70 for others, depending on when they were first appointed to the Bench.
