What will happen to non-compliant NHPs on the Canadian market?
As of January 1, 2004, many non-compliant NHPs will be on the Canadian market. Health Canada’s compliance approach will be to prioritize on a risk-mitigation basis and apply focused compliance efforts against categories of NHPs for which applications for product licences have not been received by NHPD.
