What will happen to my Wamu Checking/Savings account?

0

Nothing should happen to your account, as long as the balance is below the FDIC insured amount of $100,000. Your money should be safe. In fact, the WaMu branches are open today, as far as I know. Lesson learned: make sure that you don’t keep any more than $100,000 ($250,000 for IRAs) at any one bank.
