Doing a factory restore should have no effects on your connection. Unless you have a static IP and then you will manually have to enter the IP address and gateway address, if so you should already have all the information from you ISP. If not then just open Internet Connections and copy down all the addresses and re-enter them when you restore your computer. I doubt you have a static IP though, most companies hardly use them. Installing the software should be optional when leaving your internet connected and doing the restore, Windows should do a internet check and heve you connected as soon as you are finished doing the restore.
