What will happen to little Britain now?
There are 58.5 million people in Britain who are not muslims, 72% describe themselves as Christians, 23.2% do not put any religion or are not religious, 2.7% Muslim and 2.7% of all the other faiths. Muslims are a small minority Christians and non religious make up over 95% of the population so why I wonder what your point is. I consider this census raised far more worrying statistics than the number of muslims; 5.2 million people who are providing unpaid care for a family member or friend and for how many hours. The resulting picture overall was one of a considerable amount of such care being provided – 5.2 million carers in England and Wales, including over a million providing more than 50 hours a week. There are about 336,000 people aged 90 and over, and of these nearly 4,000 are providing 50 or more hours of unpaid care per week to another family member or friend. Over two million children (17.6 per cent) live in households where there are no adults in work. In 2006/7, 2.9 million c
