If assignment notification emails were sent prior to the new subdomain support, the email will contain a link to the older www.churchdirector.com page. These links will still work for some time while the conversion is underway. After enough time has passed, all emails will reference your new subdomain website address and we will enforce the subdomain requirement (invalidating any outdated www.churchdirector.com links for assignment request emails).
