What will happen to ABCs field auditing staff?
ABC still has a need for auditors both in the field and at the ABC-managed locations. Is this mandatory for all ABC publisher members? Isnt it easier for me just to have an ABC auditor come to my office? For the March 2009 beta-test period, ABC will contact specific publications in an effort to recruit volunteers. Following this initial phase, ABC will launch a comprehensive recruitment phase to encourage members to adopt the new model by the Sept. 2010 reporting period. We anticipate that this change will raise many questions with our members and that we will experience some growing pains. We will provide a variety of educational materials including checklists and webinars to aid in this transition. Additionally, an auditor will still be assigned to each audit who will be able to walk members through the new audit process. When will my publication transition to this new format?
