On Monday, Oct. 24, our construction partner, Skanska Smoot Joint Venture, took over the property to be developed for the new clinical facilities. A construction fence will be erected around Broadway Garage and surrounding areas. Soon after, demolition of the garage and several facilities will take place. A concrete processor will be used to tear down both the garage (approx. 90 days) and MHL (approx. 45 days). The foundation work for the clinical towers should begin in summer 2006. The anticipated overall length of construction time is approximately 3 1/2 years.
