(Source: yahoo.com) In response to international safety concerns, the US Department of Homeland Security has created a tool that is able to detect whether a computer is infected by the Conficker worm. The tool was developed by the US Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT). While only partial details have been released to the public, officials did announce that “DownAdUP” was unlike any other Conficker-detection tool, in that it is free to use and the most comprehensive version to date.
