What will happen if I’m late to meet my child at the bus stop in the afternoon?
The District policy is that 1st and 2nd graders must be met at the bus stop by an authorized person. Older students may get off the bus unattended. If no authorized person is waiting for a 1st or 2nd grader, the driver will keep the student on the bus and bring the student to Schoolmates. For this reason, even if you do not plan to use Schoolmates, you are required to register 1st and 2nd graders with and provide emergency contact information to Schoolmates.
