Any order information for a security other than a NASDAQ or OTC listed securities will be rejected by OATS. However, the entire FORE will not be rejected; only the ROE containing the invalid issue symbol will be rejected. Rejections that occur as a result of submissions of orders for non-reportable securities cannot be repaired in OATS; however, they are considered rejections in OATS Reporting Statistics. Firms that demonstrate a pattern of submitting non-OATS reportable securities to OATS may be subject to disciplinary action. For additional information, read the Technical Specifications.
