What will happen if I continue to file documents using only the old legacy file numbers?

All existing cases will have both a legacy file number and a new EAMS case number, so whichever number you use will associate your documents to the correct file. It is strongly suggested that you use the EAMS case number if you have it. New cases will only have an EAMS case number.
