What will happen if I am caught using Potlatch property without obtaining a Recreation Permit?
You will be told about the program and asked if you intend to continue recreating on Potlatch land. If your intention is to continue recreating, you will need to purchase your Recreation Permit through this web site or a local vendor immediately. If you fail to purchase your permit, you will receive a reminder notice to purchase your Recreation Permit. If you are caught using the property a second time, without a permit, you will be issued a letter stating that any further use of the property without obtaining a permit will be considered trespass and may result in prosecution for theft of services. If you were unaware that you were on Potlatch property and do not intend to recreate on Potlatch lands, you will be asked to voluntarily leave the property.
