WHAT WILL HAPPEN AT RHS WITH STUDENTS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF JUNIOR NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY?
Freshman students are not eligible for membership in National Honor Society and there can be no Junior NHS at the high school level. This is a rule set by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the parent organization of National Honor Society. Ninth graders should become involved in activities at Roseburg High as well as community service activities so they can be ready for consideration in their Sophomore year.
