What will happen at dermatologist?

I go to the dermatologist every 6 months. Nothing bad will happen, they would like you to dress just in knickers and bra to check all your moles over your body, they will use a magnifying glass to check the mole thoroughly for any suspicious colours, or scabbing, etc. You may not see it on the outside, but you can in the inside, which is why they do that. If they check for a mole that’s a little suspicious, they will cut it off, they use a freezing nitrogen injection (hurts a little) and cut the mole and send it off for a biopsy. If you think your moles have been changing, they will take a picture of them and measure it and tell you to come back in a month’s time to see for any changes that needs evaluating.
