What will get along with Dwarf Gourami?
As another user mentioned, the Guppies’ large tails tend to attract attention from other fish, especially narcissistic fish like Gouramis. For this reason (as well as the fact that Platies are larger than Guppies), I would suggest Platies over Guppies for your Dwarf. Platies ARE tropical fish, and a temperature near 78* is best (same with the Dwarf Gourami) while Guppies often do best in slightly colder waters. Dwarf Gouramis, unlike their larger relatives (Blue Gouramis, Gold Gouramis, and Opaline Gouramis are all color morphs of the same fish), are quite peaceful and really only show aggression towards other Gouramis or anything that could be mistaken for a Gourami (so do NOT keep multiple Gouramis in the same tank unless it’s quite large). For this reason, long finned fish like Angels, Fancy Guppies, and Bettas should be avoided. Also, avoid aggressive fish like African Cichlids and larger South American Cichlids. The only Cichlids I would recommend keeping with Dwarf Gouramis would
