What will DfT do with overseas criminal record information?
• DfT will make a judgement on what the overseas criminal history indicates of the applicant’s integrity and reliability and how this affects the decision on granting NSV clearance. DfT will take into account factors such as: the nature of any offences, the age of convictions, the seriousness of convictions and the pattern of criminality.
