What will CAA ask of each family looking to enroll their pet in the Home2Home program?
A contact person from Companion Animal Advocates will follow up to gather important information such as breed, reason for re-homing, health, behavior, compatibility with cats/dogs, age, spayed/neutered status, location, vaccinations, licensure, key traits and contact information. CAA asks that each current owner be comfortable with their contact info being posted on the website, e-blast and flyer for any potential adopters to contact them directly. Contracts between the adopter and the adoptee are recommended as well as a bill of sale.
