What will be the timeline to apply for either a renewal or initial credential?
You can renew your current credential up to 6 months before it expires. An initial credential application needs to be submitted before October 31 so that instructors CTE costs are claimable under CTA for the entire academic year. Initial applications submitted after October 31st must have CTA funds prorated to the amount of time the teacher held a valid credential.
