What will be the service focus of City Year Miami upon launch next fall?
City Year Miami will have 5-8 teams implementing the Whole School Whole Child model in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Additionally, another team will run the Young Heroes Program and Civic Engagement initiatives. In addition to the school-based work in support of the Whole School Whole Child model, all City Year Miami corps members will be fully-trained and certified in many aspects of disaster readiness and response work.
