What will be the mechanism for the annual reports?
DECC is developing a reporting tool to allow the submission of annual reports online. The tool will provide the details of the plan as approved and designated users will simply indicate new consumption information and the status of actions. The tool is expected to be online by December 2008. For businesses required to report in NGERS, OSCAR may be used to reporting Energy Saving Action Plan data. Local councils, government agencies and businesses not required to report in NGERS should use the annual reporting online tool to complete their annual reporting requirements for their energy saving action plan .
