What will be the major differences between Dark Archon 2 and Dark Archon 1?
A whole lot. On the surface the game play will be entirely different. Dark Archon 1 was aimed more at the adventure aspect of the game. You could play it with a joystick or mouse or whatever. To win you needed to move quickly and also you needed to keep with the rest of your fleet. You were just one member of a MUCH larger battle building up your own abilities and increasing the strength of your ship. Anyone who has made it to the last levels of part one with any of the races has experienced a battle from a perspective that no other game gives you. Unfortunately we were unable to pack that into the demo without making the demo far too difficult for beginners. However, everyone who has played through to the last levels of DAII has remarked that the end of the game is so much better than the beginning that it has been un-appreciated by the mass market.
