What will be the benefits of UW-Stout as a polytechnic university?
Because of increasing competition in the higher education field, UW-Stout needed to find a way to stand out. We believe that the polytechnic designation will attract more resources, through donations and research dollars, as well as raise the profile of the university in the region and state. UW-Stout has a new way to tell prospective students, parents, faculty and staff, and the public about all the programs offered here through a marketing and branding campaign. We also now have a guide for administrators, faculty and staff to use in making future decisions about the direction of the university.
