Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK) has replaced the A and V units for assessors and internal verifiers with a suite of qualifications titled ‘Assessing and Assuring the Quality of Assessment.’ LLUK are working with awarding organisations to have this suite of qualifications available no later than 1 January 2011 at which point they will replace A and V units. Cskills Awards will update you further on the launch of these qualifications and any changes to the Sector Skills Council (SSC) Consolidated Assessment Strategy for the QCF (October 2009) regarding qualifications valid for assessors and verifiers as they happen. Further information can be found on the LLUK website www.lluk.org.
