What will be done about paint scratches and chips?

Protective paint coatings are designed purely to help slowdown paint oxidisation (i.e. loss of shine or lustre) and will not protect against chips, scratches and chemical etching (i.e. bore water stains, bird droppings, tree sap and insect splatter) Some minor surface scratches and scuff marks will disappear when we re-apply the paint glaze however scratches and chips that have penetrated through to the metal need to be re-painted with touch-up paint as soon as possible.
