What will a studio’s incremental cost be to release in Technicolor 3D?

0

In order to release in Technicolor 3D a studio will only have two incremental costs: 1) a batch post-production process to take the final color-corrected left eye and right eye images, put them in Technicolor’s over-under format, and apply a series of proprietary processes to ensure a high-quality presentation during exhibition; and 2) a new Technicolor 3D over-under 35mm negative print. Neither of these processes should materially increase the cost to the studio. Note that a color trim pass may be required for content where Technicolor did not perform the digital intermediate process.
