What where the events that led up to the Boston Massacre?
Animosity between American colonists and the British were high in the early spring of 1770. Late in the afternoon, on March 5 1770, a crowd of Bostonian’s throwing snowballs gathered around a small group of British soldiers guarding the Boston Customs House. The soldiers became upset after one of them got hit, and they fired muskets into the crowd, they were under orders not to fire but five colonists were shot and killed.
