What where the aims of the little albert study?

0

The study was aimed to learn more about classical conditioning. They showed little albert (a baby) a white fuzzy animal (I believe it was a rat, not entirely sure though) and paired it with a loud noise, which startled the baby. At first the baby was not afraid of the animal, but after the stimulus of the rat was paired with the stimulus of the loud noise, the baby became not only afraid of the animal but of other objects that had common characteristics (basically anything that was white and fuzzy scared him).
