What were the transferable skills from the military?
The primary transferable skill is leadership. The ability to manage resources time, money, people and equipment effectively is a must and the military taught me how to do this extremely well. The military also prepared me to be able to perform multiple tasks well and to operate well under pressure. I also learned how to motivate and influence others to accomplish goals and objectives. Describe your Linde career. My career with Linde has been fast paced, extremely challenging, and very rewarding. After I joined Linde in September 1992, I successfully established the new location, trained the employees and managed product deliveries throughout four states. Since then, I worked as a plant manager and was later promoted to a cluster manager, responsible for multiple plants in a region. How has your military training helped in your career? In the military, failure is not an option. You do what is necessary to accomplish the mission. But in order to be successful, one person cannot do it all
