What were the spring trends from London Fashion Week?
London Fashion Week is renowned for producing new ideas and interesting concepts but it rarely comes up with the fashions that appear on our high street the following season. That’s because the true powerhouses of the high street are labels such as Prada, Gucci and Calvin Klein, who will all be showing their new ranges in the other fashion capitals, Milan, Paris and New York. The spring season always guarantees plenty of pretty clothes and this year will be no exception. There was chiffon aplenty in most collections, with the best seen at Ronit Zilkha and Gharani Strok. Both labels showed acres of delicate floral chiffon fashioned into dresses, blouses and camisoles. Flowers appeared not only on prints but as corsages too with both Ben de Lisi and Paul Costelloe using delicate realistic-looking silk flowers to decorate hems
