What were the origins of stenciling graffiti?
I agree, it goes back to the beginning of human history…been to some of those caves, seen the hand ‘stencils’, profoundly moving I have to say… But if you mean the recent resurgence, it’s usually linked to the beginnings of hiphop and/or punk culture.
