What were the original Lucky Charms?

Well at least the marshmallows! I must confess that as a child I would pick out all the Marshmallow bits, eat them in sequential order (per the song in the commercial) and leave the cereal. Of course I would blame my brother for this, and my parents would get upset because they would have to buy a new box! I’m a late 80’s/90’s child… Ok, so to answer the question, as much as I would love to answer: hearts, stars, horseshoes, clovers and blue moons, pots of gold, rainbows, and the red balloons! (I even remember when they introduced the diamonds, whales, and the multicolored crazy mellows!)….. The answer is: The ORIGINAL lucky charms were YELLOW MOONS, GREEN FOUR LEAF CLOVERS, ORANGE STARS, PINK HEARTS. Oh and PS: Lucky Charms, before being “magically delicious” were a “Charmin’ Cereal” Sources: General Mills, Youtube.com, MY CHILDHOOD!
