One of the main components that led to WW2 was the Treaty of Versilles where Germany was pretty much blamed 100% for WW1 and ordered to repay all the Allies war debts. This left Germany’s economy in shambles because they had nothing and it had been devestated during the war. With this in mind Hitlet was able to rise to power with very little objection as he united the people of Germany with the understanding that their current state was due to the rest of the world. Hitler wanted to take back what Germany lost after WW1 and then some. The League of Nations (the UN’s predecessor) had no real power and did nothing to stop Hitler in his activities. He rebuilt the German Military which was far superior to any military around and nothing was done against him. He slowly started to militerize areas of land that where to be demiliterized after the war to prevent a buffer between Germany and surrounding nations. Once again nothing was done.
