What were the events leading to the downfall of the inca civilisation?
Their own leader caused their down fall in my opinion, First he allowed the conquistadors to enter his country(he instructed his people to leave them alone). The Conquistadors had nothing but gold on the mind and was looking for a fight, so when the Inca leader finally meet the Conquistadors they gave him a Bible and he threw it down stating that “this book was no good to him” so they used it as a act for war. The leader’s brother(or bother in law, can’t remember) became a “puppet” king set by the Conquistadors in order to rule the huge population. More Conquistadors started to arrive and before you know it the Inca was taken over… The End! It’s worth mentioning that the Inca did have a revolt after one of the leading Conquistadors raped the puppet kings wife but with few successes the Inca rebels still ended up going back into the jungle. Until finally the rebel leader was betrayed.
