What were the differences and similarities between kublai khan and genghis khan?
Kublai became Kha khan later, and moved his capital from Karakorum to what today is Beijing. He became more Chinese than Mongol, and with his capital so far east, it portended the ultimate breakup of the central Empire. Still, Kublai ruled half the world until his death, and the Mongol Empire remained intact until the middle of the 14th century.
