What were the consequences of actions taken by Hitler to bring about change in Germany?
Well, he came to power as Chancellor in 1933 and in a short time had managed to suspend civil liberties and begin his massive rearmament programs as well as increasing the sizes of the Army and Navy and Air Force. The consequence of the suspension of civil liberties were the beginnings of the concentration camp activities with the first one being Dachau which held not only arrested Jews, but also political enemies of the Nazis. The consequence of his military and building programs was an increase in employment in Germany and temporary good times. Of course the ultimate consequence of these and all of his actions was WWII and the defeat and destruction of Germany.
