WHAT WERE THE CAUSES OF THE IRAQ WAR?
There was only one war, with a long cease fire. Saddam attacked Kuwait. Kuwait asked their ally to help (USA). We fought Iraq out of Kuwait. Iraq wouldn’t stop, so we fought them back, with repeated requests that they stop. They didn’t. We got all the way to the capital and Saddam asked for a cease fire. We had a decade long cease fire while the UN got treated like fools by Saddam. We finished the job after realizing the UN was not going to do anything and had convinced everyone, including his allies, that he had WMDs and was going to attack the USA. Most people have short memories, or believe their own propaganda. There is SO much more. Educate yourself on all sides of the issue.
