What were the actual results of Dr. Niepers work with serrapeptase?
To quote from a magazine called The Spotlight: “In 1992, Nieper told The Spotlight about a research project he headed in Germany where 51 heart patients who had been scheduled for open heart surgery participated in the serrapeptase trial. According to Nieper, all 51 patients in the study group had progressed for 18 months to two years and none of them had to undergo the previously scheduled open heart surgery. Nieper stated: ‘I have found serrapeptase to be an extraordinary substance for safely removing fibrous blockages from coronary arteries and particularly the carotid arteries found in the neck, which supply blood to the brain…. Miniscule amounts of this enzyme are unbelievably powerful and have shown a lasting effect.’ Nieper stated that ‘The Doppler controls conducted after more than 1 year of this therapy show excellent improvements of the carotid flow in 19 patients.
