What were some of the cheerleading uniforms like?
VB: Funny thing, Christina Milian helped design some of our outfits! She had a really specific vision of what would be fun, and then she’d ask us our opinions. We had this great costume designer, Ruth E. Carter, who was amazing and let us choose our clothes. As an actor, you don’t usually get that freedom. 17: Can you tell us something funny or embarrassing that happened on set? VB: Okay, I’m a prankster. I’m guilty of that. On everyone’s birthday, I would do something horrible to them. I made Meagan Holder come in for a fitting that she didn’t have, and we had birthday balloons waiting for her. We also surprised Christina on her birthday! But we got Holland Roden (who plays Gloria’s stepsister, Skyler) the worst. On her birthday, I gave everyone in the crew cast, crew, cameras, everybody a can of silly string.
