Boeing, Northern-Grummond, Raytheon, Bell helicopters, McDonald Douglass were all US military aircraft makers. The manufacturer of specific weapons like the M-14 or its replacement the M-16 should be listed with the weapon’s history in any weapon history book. So as long as you know what they were using, you can find who made it.
