What were OBarrs influences in regard to the physical presentation of the Eric character?
Eric’s body movements are based on punk icon Iggy Pop. The actual physical look of Eric is based on Peter Murphy from the band Bauhaus. The makeup design is not based on Alice Cooper or Kiss as is popularly assumed. The inspiration for the makeup comes directly from the British theater’s three faces of Drama; Pain, Irony & Despair. These are shown in a couple of panels in the first comic book.
