What were classes and professors like at the University of Melbourne?
The classes were larger, but the professors were very good. They were, if not the same level, better than what I am used to at my home university. The Fluids class professor was always available for help despite the fact that there were so many people. He was always around. The Materials class professor was also very good. What I really liked about that class was that he invited about eight guest speakers to class. What were some of the differences you experienced between the universities? At Melbourne classes were much bigger than my home university. It was different being in bigger lecture hall, but I easily adapted to it. For the engineering labs, the actual experiments we did, we were in very small groups. They did a really good job of organizing it so the groups wouldn’t be too big and not too many people were in the lab at the same time. It all worked out really well.
