The majority of weight loss surgeries performed at Good Samaritan Hospital are Roux-en-Y gastric bypass procedures. These are done both as an open surgery and hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery. We recently began performing laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding (Lap-Band®).
