Instead of doing editing pictures online, i recommend that you use Adobe Photoshop for changing hair colours and other simple stuff. Its quick, easy to use (once you know how to use it) and it gives fantastic results. Basically, all you have to do is to create a select the area you want to color using quick mask and then fill your area with the basic colour using the paint bucket option. Then simply change the layer blending mode to overlay and choose an appropriate opacity and your job is done.
