There are three ways UC will accept online courses taken by students for purposes of UC admissions: If the online courses are available to all students attending the school, a school simply adds these courses as pre-approved courses to their UC-approved “a-g” course list during the regular update cycle. The school must submit a Partnership Application (doc) prior to adding the course to their course list. A full course description will not be required in the course submission. Schools are responsible for verifying the course being added appears on the UC-approved course list for the online provider before it can be added to the school’s list Note: All providers have different requirements for participation.
