What ways are the most healing for dealing w/the death of a loved one?

hi auntie, I recently lost my grandmother, age 92, 4 months ago. It was very hard as she and I were extremely close when I was growing up. My niece, age 5, was close to her as well. Gram lived with my mom and dad for 9 yrs. due to a stroke. The MD told my mom that she couldn’t live alone anymore so instead of placing her in a nursing home, gram moved in. Over the yrs. her dementia got worse. When Hospice became involved a few yrs. ago, it helped my mother in preparing for the end . In Aug. she was dxed as end of life so they stopped all of her medications and provided pain meds for relief. I got to see her when she was having one of her good days. She was sitting up and eating a donut. That is how I will remember her b/c afterwards, she started going downhill fast. To the point of not being able to get out of bed or even sitting up w/the help of my folks. When the time came for everyone to say their goodbyes, I knew in my heart that she’d go before I could come over to visit again. She
