Only rainwater can drain to the stormdrain system as this system is not treated prior to release into creeks, Lake Merritt, and/or the Bay. Any littering, wastewater, washwater, grease/food product, vehicle fluids, construction discharges, or other non-stormwater discharge to the stormdrain system is an illicit discharge and may be fined.
