What was your experience of relocating to St Pere de Ribes/ Sitges with children?
(if relevant) We arrived in the beginning of July, right at the start of school holidays. So in the beginning it was a long long lovely holiday, the beach, the swimming pool and no rain at all. With a lot of visiting friends from Holland so Hello Spain here we are. Now, 5 months later, I can say sometimes it is hard, especially when your little girl (5) says: “I miss my friends from Holland” in a really adult way. But the sunny side is there are lots of people in the very same situation as we are and everybody wants to help and are so incredibly open towards newcomers! I have a really Dutch cargo bicycle and this is a real conversation maker. Sometimes it seems that everybody knows you already. “Oh, you must have just arrived here.” Or “If you need anything; here is my card” or “come to our party, you are invited” and “what age are your children so I can think of kids to play with them”, etc, etc. We feel really welcome here How well integrated would you say you and your children are?
