What was wrong with the old Policies and Procedures Manual?
The old Policies and Procedures Manual, which has been changed in form only, lacked conformity and created frustration and confusion for its users. Some policies included hyperlinks to cross-referenced policies; other policies included a cross-reference, but no hyperlink. The font differed from policy to policy, as did the general layout of the page. Moreover, many of the policies appeared in sections that were not logical locations for that particular policy, which created difficulty for a user trying to find a policy by using the Table of Contents. In short, the new Regulations Library provides a standardized format that unifies the policies and organizes the policies into the most appropriate and logical locations.
