As a large employer in China, we immediately sought after the safety of our employees and their families in Sichuan. No TNT employee was personally hurt. We immediately sent food, water, tents, and clothes. We also offered our help to the broader community, contributing transport and logistics services to several help agencies, such as the China Charity, the China Foundation for Children and Adolescents, the China Foundation for the Alleviation of Poverty and the China Youth Development Foundation. In the meantime, we raised funds among our employees in China and abroad and matched their contributions. All donations were channelled through the China Youth Development Foundation. In addition, TNT China is funding the rebuilding of a New Hope School in the Wenchuan area.
